The Liv-ex indices fell further in November. Dropping 2.53%, the Liv-ex 100 closed the month on 258.46 – its lowest point for the year – while the Liv-ex 50 fell 2.37%. Levels for all Liv-ex indices can be seen here.

Once again, the Liv-ex major movers table shows that the “on-vintage” First Growths are under pressure – particularly the two most recently physical vintages, the 2009 and 2010. At the other end of the table, more affordable Bordeaux 2009 and 2010 saw positive movement, with 99-point Montrose 2010 and 100-point Ducru 2009 among this month’s highest risers. But with Bordeaux out of focus – and seasonal demand pushing the region to the fore – Champagne was at the top of the table.
