The Liv-ex Data Feed - accurate, up-to-date market data on-demand
The Liv-ex Data Feed provides on-demand access to wine price data from liv-ex.com. The Feed can be integrated (via an API) with internal systems to increase trading efficiency; value large amounts of stock quickly and efficiently; and facilitate in-depth market research. Alternatively, simply donwload the data in a tidy, standardised format. The data available to subscribers includes: live Bids & Offers, Best List Price, Average List Price, listed quantity, last Liv-ex transaction and average auction price.

Liv-ex as appointed valuer - with mark-to-market pricing
Liv-ex can act as the appointed valuer to wine funds and undertake other valuations when mark-to-market price information is needed. The Liv-ex Mid Price – our mark-to-market data product - is the most robust pricing measure available anywhere in the fine wine market. The Mid Price is calculated by finding the mid point between the current highest bid price and lowest offer price on the Liv-ex trading platform. Each price is then verified by our valuation committee to ensure that the value is robust after taking into account all data at its disposal. Please note that the Liv-ex Mid Price calualtion is only suitable for wines that have an active secondary market.

License an existing Liv-ex index or create your own
Due to our unrivalled access to fine wine price data, Liv-ex indices are widely acknowledged as the fine wine industry's benchmarks. You can subscribe to an existing Liv-ex index or create a bespoke index in conjunction with us. Component price data is also available for any of the indices, with historical prices going back to January 2004 (further on request). Licensing deals are also available.
