The individual wine page displays in-depth price information on every fine wine that Liv-ex lists and trades. It lies at the heart of both the trading exchange and the Cellar Watch information subscriptions.
Please note that information related to current trades on the Liv-ex exchange displays only to Trade Members and Platinum Subscribers. Historical trade prices are available only to Trade Members.
Liv-ex Bids & Offers (Trade Members and Platinum Subscribers only)
In green are all the Bids to buy with prices and quantities, sorted with the highest at the top.
In blue are all the offers for sale with prices and quantities, sorted with the lowest at the top.
Each of these represents a firm commitment by a trading member to deal at this price and quantity.
Click on the green bid to place an offer for sale.
Click on the blue offer to place a bid to buy.
If a bid or offer is placed which matches a corresponding offer or bid, both disappear and a transaction is created.
You can also use the tabs above this box to switch between SIB and Special contracts.

A "y" in the sus column indicates that the order is suspended.

Current Headline Prices
This box displays aggregate price information from the fine wine marketplace.
Rolling Best List Price: The lowest price the wine was listed for by a member merchant in the last 30 days. It is designed to show the lowest price a purchaser could expect to pay for in-bond stock in good condition. If no price has been received during the 30-day period the previous Best List Price will be used.
Lowest Current List Price: The lowest price from merchants' most recent lists (i.e prices which have not yet been superseded). It is an indication of the lowest price currently available in the market.
Highest Current List Price: The highest price from merchants' most recent lists.
Average Current List Price: The mean price of all stock currently listed by member merchants, weighted for volume.
Last Auction Price: The price achieved when the wine most recently appeared at auction (prices include buyer's premium).
Last Liv-ex Trade: The price achieved in the most recent trade on the Liv-ex Fine Wine Exchange (Trade Members and Platinum Subscribers only).
Lowest 5 Current List Price
These are prices and quantities from merchants' most recent lists (i.e prices which have not yet been superceded). They are an indication of what is on offer from member merchants, today.
The box displays the best (lowest) 5 prices in the last 60 days.

A "y" in the CI column indicates that this price relates to a wine with some kind of condition issue.
A "y" in the sold column indicates that our exchange managers have identified that this wine is sold.
The Wine Price Chart
View best and average merchant list prices, auction prices and Liv-ex transactions, all in one chart. Use the "add or remove series" dropdown menu to customise the data displayed.
Use the date controls to plot performance over a set period of time or view the complete price history.
The dark blue line on the chart indicates the Monthly Best List Price. This is the lowest price received from any merchant in that calendar month, regardless of quantity offered.
The dotted line on the chart indicates the Average List Price per case in that calander month. This is the calculated (Price * Quantity) for each list offer, divided by total quantity offered.
The coloured circles indicate auction prices or Liv-ex transactions.
